Description

Healing happens when we remember we belong to one another.

The Circle™: An Aya Wellness Event invites you into a sacred space of rest, reflection, and reconnection with an afternoon designed to help you breathe, release, and be held in community.

Guided by Dr. Malaika, founder of Aya Healing & Empowerment Services and author of Rooted in Resilience, this experience draws from ancestral healing practices, restorative rituals, and collective witnessing. Together, we’ll explore how community care becomes self-care and how the circle itself becomes medicine.

Expect a blend of guided reflection, storytelling, gentle movement, and moments of stillness, all curated to help you return to yourself while being surrounded by others on the journey.

Aya Healing & Empowerment Services, Inc.

Aya Healing & Empowerment Services, Inc. is a culturally centered wellness and community healing organization founded by Dr. Malaika M. Brown. Rooted in West African cosmology and Black psychological traditions, Aya reimagines wellness as a collective practice that honors culture, spirituality, and ancestral wisdom.

Through workshops, the Aya Pause™ mindfulness method, The Aya Way™ podcast, and live experiences such as The Circle™, Aya creates sacred spaces where healing is not only personal but shared.

Aya’s work is guided by the Adinkra symbol Aya, meaning “the fern,” which represents endurance, resilience, and growth in difficult places. Whether through books, events, or digital platforms, Aya invites communities to remember what they have always known: we heal best together.
